Primary Arms sells them for $11.99 all the time. I bought two hoping the follower was different for use w/ 357 AR. The follower isn’t any different. Figured I’d let people know they’re only $1 more every day at Primary Arms.

ordered six more of them. the followers in the ones I have are definitely different then the ones in my magpul 556 mags. Wish theyd make some with a window though. thanks doug guy

These are from Gen 3 mags purchased in the last month. Any measurements I took were the same between them. I was expecting the follower to be different which is the sole reason I bought them.

I got a few P Mags and four Lancer 300 BO mags today
Lancer is all that and a bag of chips

I most always buy them in a bullet/scope combo deal. Count them as $10 each and back out the cost and the bullets are a real good deal.

Correct, you’d think Magpul would list what the differences are on their site but they don’t. I searched all of the sites and little info can be found as to the actual differences. The rib is narrowed but not by much. Wish they offered the 300 BLK mags in ten rounders. I’m patiently waiting for CMMG to release their 350 Legend mags. I know I will be paying a hefty premium for them.

I don't know what gen my 556 magpuls are but the square hump on the follower is shorter and the ramp on it is steaper on these 300 bo magpuls and like said the rib is relocated. don't have a camera but with a tape measure that hump is a 1/16 of an inch shorter and most of that is the ramp at the front of the hump is shorter and steeper. defineately a different follower then the one in my 556 mags and the 556 mags I checked were bought a couple months ago and are marked gen 2. Do you have gen 3? Maybe there different then mine. Shaking my head. I searched all over the internet to see if anyone mentioned he different follower and found nothing. All I can say is mine are sure different.

my 300 mags have the same profile as what your showing. My gen 2 and gen 1 magpul 556 mags definitely have a different shape and length to the hump. Maybe its a gen 3 thing.

Pretty sure they made changes to the follower when they went to Gen3. Somehow I overlooked the video about the 300 mags on their site, oh well. I pretty much bought them for a black follower.

I wish they had them in a 20 round version. I find the 30 round mags to be a little too cumbersome for carrying very far.

Pretty sure he’s talking about the 300 BLK pmags. They only make them in thirty rounders. I have a hard time understanding why anyone needs to carry around thirty rounds of that cartridge.

Until this thread I didn't know they made 300 BO specific mags. I love my lancers for my 300 BO but might have to get some that are designed just for it.

lancer also has 300BO specific mags now. both 20&30rnd, vs just 30 for magpul.

Sorry, must not have been specific enough, until this thread I didn't know that Lancer made 300 BO specific mags. I don't use magpul, had a bad experience with them and the 300 BO.

I ordered some Lancer 20s for the 300, I see they make them in clear and black but the clear was out of stock so I reckon folks like them. The Magpul 30s that are 300 BLK specific work great. I can load them faster without the ebayed speedloader (doh!) and they function flawlessly in my 10.5" PSA AR build.
