rubber o ring for a 430 sizer.

i've got a lyman 430 sizer die that the o ring disappeared. can i pick one up at the hardware that is the same size or do i have to contact lyman for a replacement. thanks dan.

Yes, you can get one from a local supplier, provided they have a good supply of o-rings.

Careful though....I picked up some o-rings at a local hardware store and got a great price. They were so cheap because the rack had been priced probably 20-30 years ago (the rings were probably original stock...:mrgreen:). Needless to say, they wouldn't stretch over the shaft-they just broke!!!.....But hey-I got a great price! [smilie=1:

There is a white (ish) O Ring used in paintball guns that work much mo betta..at work and forget the proper word for em though. I bought a pack on clearance at china mart for a song...they work good.
