Measured one of mine. Front band .547", middle .538", last one .535" Hope this helps.

Thanks, read on anther forum, the guy was using them for sabots in a 20 gauge.

Was that a rifled 20 gauge? That would be something cool to try I'd think.

I have looked but can't find it written down, and I write down all of my loads. Its been a while but I do know that I used Longshot powder and loaded it according to the weight for lead shot, and the wad was an older Win wad something like a WA20-F1, the slug will not fit in the current wads

I have note on box that says slug weighs 380 grains, which is 7/8 oz. and put 3 ea. 28 ga. 1/8" cards under the slug. I got this info from somewhere as to what to use, but don't remember where
