No longer shown in the Saeco/Redding catalog. Any one have an image and specs on this boolit?

Are you sure the # is 572? or 571?
#572 is not even listed in the Saeco obsolete moulds.

the mold no is 571/572
it has two different boolits in the same mold.

Can't figure out what the #572 is, but here is a pic of the #571 300 gr, taper design, .375-.382, 6 GG 1.120 OAL

thtas the 571
the 572 has larger bands near the bottom is a plain base and iirc is tapered also.
i could give a better description but i am 300 miles from the boolits but i know nolan can.
he may also be able to do a picture.

Only one (1) boolit was measured.

Measured parallel to parting line: top band, .3785"
second band from nose, .3789"
third band from nose, .3793"
fourth band from nose, .385"
base band, .3847"

Mesured perpendicular to parting line: top band, .3785"
second band from nose, .3792"
third band from nose, .3797"
fourth band from nose, .3837"
base band, .3844"

Measured length of 4 boolits: 1.109"
5th boolit: 1.010"

Average wt. of 5 randomly selected boolits weighed: 303.94 grains.
Individual weights ranged from 301.4 to 306.6 grains.

No idea of alloy, runfiverun can tell us what the alloy is. [smilie=1:

Jon K, at this point in time, don't know. Have to make time to load some of these and see how they shoot. Life interferes with my shooting time.
