Double Star AR receivers

Got a chance to pick one up at or close to cost
As a fool put down $40 to order one and did a no no
And will probely never own a gun again

And now the Dealer is stuck with the striped receiver , so he offered it to me

Anything bad about them ?

I was thinking of building up a 30 x 221 so I could shoot some 30 cal cast in it

My sillywet gun is an XP100 in 30-223 - just the .223 necked up. About the same balistics as the 30 Herret, or .308/1.5, or 8mmKurz, &cetera. It is a handy round.

I just got 2 of them from a group buy. Picked 'em up yesterday. From all that I can glean, they're good receivers.
