Just got back from the new local gun shop that opened up near here a few months ago.
I've been working on thinning out the safe, and wanted a small new pocket handgun.

So, I took in a very gently used Browning Buckmark .22 rifle to sell or trade
in hopes of getting a deal on a new .45/410 derringer made down the road here in Texas.

It worked out real well. The retired Navy Chief who works the counter seemed to fall in love with it.
He'll probably buy it himself, and I'll pick up my new addition when it arrives in a day or two.

Nice to hear good experiences after reading thru the other thread! I have it pretty good here, 3 good shops in town and a couple more 25 miles south. I always liked the buckmark rifle, just never came across a nice used one for reasonable. Seems both of you came out, thats how I like things to work out!
