Hi all,
For what it's worth, got my new group-buy 6-banger 311407 mold going last nite & had a few spare minutes to cast up a few. Got some wrinkly bullets and some good ones. This morning, went out & got the same thing until I started tilting the mold slightly down & filling one cavity at a time. Now, about 100% great looking boolits. Nice & filled out, smooth, just a bit frosty, about as good as it gets. Need to get em to drop out easier & then will be pretty perfect. Sure builds up a pile of bullets in a short time. The casting temp difference didn't seem to make much difference once I started tilting the mold down & pushing it forward a hole when the sprue came up about 1/8" above the plate. I pulled the plug & kept casting until the lead stopped pouring out the spout & same great boolits up until the end. So that's my results. Hope this helps someone.
