This came off a 12-gauge Belgian Browning Superposed shotgun, reportedly brought back home by a GI from the European theater after WWII. Whether or not that's true, I can't say, but the shotgun did not look like the imported Brownings I saw here in the US when I started shooting trap in the 1950's. In any event, the plate is clearly imprinted "Browning Superposed." Material is plastic or bakelite (??). Small chips in toe and heel. Overall length = 5-1/8”. Hole spacing = 3-1/4”. No screws. Price: $15 shipped in the USA.
