Lee C309-170RF COAL

I know this is somewhere on this forum and Lord knows I've searched. Was seating some 06's and for the 173 GR (closest weight and type to mine) it called for 2.968" COAL. Case TTL is 2.484" but trimmed all to my shortest at 2.489". Crimp groove lines up 3.025". I made a dummy round and plunked into chamber and ejected a few times with no problem. I didn't even crimp the dummy round and it stayed at 3.025". Starting loads are just 26 GR's of 5744, just wanted to know if length is ok.

For my M1, I load the Lee 309-170 at 3.055. I'm loading a little long to get closer to the rifling. Your COL should be good since it fits your chamber OK
