after cleaning the crud off, that stock is not right

that is a good job chas......... you musta had a pattern or 16 to follow.

i can use it for a project on a new [production] one.

what did they finish it with linseed? turpentine?

finish on the old stock was antiquing stuff, I finished the new one with tung oil
