Don’t know if anyone is interested in the PM2 but they’re on sale at Midway with a $25 MIR. The reports have been spotty so I’ve passed so far, but for those that are wanting one.

I'm on the fence.

I want one but I'm not sure I want to spend $200 + shipping to get a Lee Drip-O-matic that's painted green and has a more complicated temperature control package.

Same here Petrol and Powder. I’m getting along fine with my Lee and Hatch’s PID setup.

Same here. Just can't pull the trigger on this pot. The Lee keeps bullets coming, and some of the reviews have not been the best, on this RCBS pot.

Wow, how far RCBS has fallen. A green 25# PID pot for under $200, and the reviews are so mixed that casters hesitate. Their previous US non-PID model was so good, people were buying over PID choices.

I would buy a new original Pro-Melt for $200 but the Pro-Melt 2 is just not winning me over at $200.

The fact that the ad lists it as `clearance` makes the red warning flag jump up for me.Robert

The China Pot may need a redesign. Who knows. Took Lyman, a long, long time to get their china melter to work. I doubt RCBS will give up.

Tough crowd. Sounds like they need ProMelt 3 (ProMelt 2.1) ASAP

I would buy a new original Pro-Melt for $200

Good luck. They’re going for over that on eBay. Seems the ProMelt 2’s reputation precedes itself already and is driving up the cost of the original.
