I was having trouble filling some large lube grooves on my RCBS 250K. I bought this lubrisizer used and I knew it had been used a bit. I started a thread on a different sizing die because I was having to run boolits through 2 or 3 times to fill the lube groove.

It wasn't until the end of the thread that Shotgun Luckey and 454PB told me how to adjust the bolt to dispense more lube. Not only was it screwed all the way in, but the bolt head was cupped and the bar was worn where they rub on each other.

I kissed the bolt head on the belt sander to flatten it out, and put a lock washer
on the bolt. I adjusted it out a little further, and now it lubes like a charm.

So if you are having trouble filling those big lube grooves, check your bearing surfaces.

Too bad I had already ordered a new 5 hole die from Lathesmith, but maybe this will help someone else. It will also give me a chance to check out his work for the next time I have a problem and come up with a harebrained scheme to fix a simple probem.
