Guys...I got the hots for a new Lyman 4 cavity mold...it's the 358665.. I think....a 'cowboy' bullet....What is your opinion of this? It's for 38 handgun and 357 rifle...

Dale-

I got a sample from Lyman when this bullet came out, good looking bullet. I also have the LEE six cavity 358-158-RF, LEEs version of the same cowboy bullet which shoots very well, has a bevel base and two more cavities per cast.

Hi Bob!

I thought maybe they were related...lol...

I 've got the Lee mold and it is a good bullet. I do like Lyman 4 cavity molds though...

Oh..I understand that there is a gunshow in Marion this weekend....Know anything about it?

No, a gunshow on deer weekend? Deer are alot more important than a gunshow.

That is a good-looking design for the 38/357 calibers. Rat-worthy for sure, and maybe even deer-capable if the unities can be preserved at 1200 FPS+.

Does anyone know 358665's as-cast diameters on the nose and body in WW metal?
