We have a senior's party at my church for those over 60 which includes a meal served by the "youngsters" and a yankee swap afterwards. I get a gift card for one of the local super markets. To me more practical and who can't use free groceries.

I was really looking for other suggestions. Hopefully a list would develop.

My OP didn’t communicate that thought well.

I would be thinking vinyl disposable gloves or the micro fiber cloths, either one is usually under 10.00. Gloves for cleaning or messy jobs. Cloths to add a little gun oil and wipe down firearms after handling. Disposable ear plugs are handy when introducing a new shooter to the sport.

box of foam earplugs. Throw a couple in your range bag, cars etc in case you forget to take your earmuffs.

My wife likes to "surprise" me with targets, Hoppe's #9, Gun Scrubber, cleaning patches, etc. She knows I "need" all these things, and that I'll use them. She always buys my hunting/fishing licence every year too, but that's a fair bit more than the prices set forth here.

Foam earplugs, paper targets, and a big bottle of CLP or Hoppes seems like stuff that would be universally appreciated.
