Wood to metal fit, general execution, aesthetics are top-notch. Just went back to shop and bought after seeing yesterday.

I love it. From the drop in the stock to the Stith low mounts. A class act!

An exact reason I love walnut and bright bluing! That is a treat to look upon. The stock gives me some ideas. The caliber with the scope is special also. Great buy!

.

That's easily the nicest custom Savage I've ever seen - every inch as good as a Griffin & Howe or other top custom gunmaker.

Still haven't had a lick of time to tear it down. I am thrilled to have found it, regardless of whether it turns out to be a named piece. It has a pleasing look and the eye easily aligns with the scope when shouldered although it is by no means set up for prone shooting. I did fire 5 at my 100 yd gong and it is perfectly sighted. Already have plenty loaded, so ready to go right out of the gates.
