Boolit lube

This has probably been beat to death before, but I have a question. I'm currently using 60/40, beeswax/parafin. Its cheap and easy to make. I pan lube. Use it on 357, 44, and 4570 boolits, max velocity probably 1450 fps. Anything see any problems with this program?

I have used straight beeswax before with no ill effects....

It will work fine but I use 50-50 bees wax and Crisco and that works for me

Apparently, at those velocities and below anything seems to work. Some here have tried no lube at all at low velocities, and it worked for them. The fly in the ontment is that that is gun-specific. A poor bore will lead even with the best lube, and the overall results run the continuum.
