Looking for.30-06 stripper clips, 5 shot, old school. Standard issue or after market for '03, '03A3 Springfield, and others. I would like to get a couple hundred, maybe more if the price is right. Anybody got a bunch? or know a source? I'm just not sure which way this election is going to go.
thanks

I bought a bunch from ebay for $20, what you need to look for are swedish mauser clips like this https://www.amazon.com/STRIPPER-SWEDISH-MAUSER-Northridge-International/dp/B01J6SIKMG they work great, you can find them cheaper than Amazon.

The Swedish Mauser clips is what most use as they are forever reusable. The original US clips have a brass tab that soon breaks off. I have shot both CMP matches and other bolt action matches with the Swedish clips and they simply are the best.

Those look exactly like the ones I have for the M-14.

M-14 are different. They don’t fit right in the stripper clip guide.

Watch for some of the Surplus Ammo that still surfaces where the rounds are on stripper clips. As a general statement; stripper clips for 30-06, 7.62, 6.5x55, 7x57, and 8mm will all work interchangeably as the rims are close enough to each other on all those cases.

I am fortunate, many years ago I bought a "Bunch" of 8mm in wooden cases for a semi-auto 1919A4. Pulled them all off stripper clips and reloaded the 8mm into the 1919A4 links. That left me with Many stripper clips that I put 30-06 and 7.62 into for long term storage (after I had reloaded all of it). If you run across some of that old surplus ammo; might be worth that approach as the parts often are still worth more than the entire stripper clip/round assembly's.

For Garand matches I use my 1903A3 with Ammo in Swedish Mauser 5 shot clips!

I just received a sales listing from Numrich (Gun Parts Corp) with these listed; at $1.90 each, the price does not appear to be outrageous for the "real McCoy", either. https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/525170A?utm_source=bronto&utm_medium=email&utm_term=TAKE+A+LOOK&utm_content=Thank+you+for+your+recent+order!&utm_campaign=Post_Purchase_2017&_bta_tid=17122634362139224742461359285000958741408 98811141267395179897041397026018418376905498972798 20718735163
