Feeding the bees. How do you pro beekeepers do it? I have only 12 hives but it seems I can't keep up with them. I put pint jars filled with 1 to 1 ratio water to sugar. Within 5 hours it's gone. I have been putting it only once a day. The temps in nights is in the 40s and tomorrow it will be 75.
So how do you guys with a lot of hives feed your girls. I m working to build another 10 hives and have them ready when I start the splits in the spring.

I use Mann Lake top feeders: https://www.mannlakeltd.com/shop-all-categories/hive-colony-maintenance/feeders/top-feeders

On my 8 frame hives each one will take almost 3 gallons of syrup at a time.

Lost my Hive last year (Moisture and did not feed additional feed). Doing this to my 3 hives this year:

Hoping this will bring them through the winter this year. I am also going to put the hive in a Canvas Garage shelter.
