Nose riders????

Playing with a T38 Arisaka.
Lyman 266673 is suppose to be a bore rider.
Question is since it's a bore rider, how much clearance between the front of the boolet and the bore?????

Light engraving is usually preferred for accuracy. Perhaps less if a hunting round where it might pull the bullet when extracting an unfired round.
