Will this bullet function in a Winchester/Miroku 1886?

Also will a Lyman 325 gr flat nose gas check #452651AV ,2 cavity function in a Wnchester/Miroku 1892 45Long colt?
TIA,
Duke

Lyman 325 gr 452651 will cycle, but it is a long boolit, twist may have trouble stabilizing it. I wasn't real happy with 200m accuracy. I may not have done enough testing, I tested H4227 & 2400. For me it worked best when I drove it fast.

Saeco #018 looks a little long to cycle in a levergun. Saeco #015 will cycle good, and shoot good. Lyman 457122 Gould boolit works good, as will 457193.

Yes I just found the #018 will not even load in the Winchester so I won't even try the Marlins.

I am thinking RCBS 300 grainer for the 1892's in 45 Long Colt.
Thanks for the heads up Jon. :-D

Duke,

RCBS 300FNGC and 325U- GC and PB versions of the same boolit. Both good choices, as of late I've been getting away from the GC unless absolutely needed. Just easier to do without.....

Yes I too would like to get away with using gas checks. I just can't find a 300 grainer with a flat base. Jon give me a jingle if you have the time. I am retired and all I do now is shoot and chase the wife around the house.
