Ok,
I've been casting boolits for about 6 months now and have been just "getting by" with a top punch. I've used bolts with the head filed flat and some homemade epoxy punches that worked ok, but eventually failed. The bolt head ones didn't fit the exact shaft diameter, so I was worried about runout on the finished product. Now I've determined I just want to get the proper top punches for my boolits. How do I know which ones to get? I have an RCBS 30-150-SP mold, a #358627 GB Lyman design made by Lee, a SAECO #354, a Lee 358-158-RF, and a NEI 6.5mm RN mold, I can't remember the number off the top of my head. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I know there is a list on here somewhere, but I couldn't find it.
Thanks for the help!

the other molds have there respective top punches catalouged with em ,but the lee 358 158 rf will have to be "home made " or pick one & try .
if rf stands for round flat , the rnfp boolit from lee i use a lyman 495

Buckshot makes a custom nose punch kit .

I had a top punch made for a Lee C358-180 RF group buy mould bullet, but went back to using a completely flat top punch.

May I ask you why?
If the top punch is modelled after the contours of the bullet tip, do not you get a better alignement of the bullet when sizing?
