Please pray for the people of middle and eastern NC and SC
After all the damage of Hurricane Florence just 3 weeks ago we are getting ready for 8 to 12 " of rain in a very short period from Hurricane Michael (if the projected path and strength holdout)
Folks, we have not even started to recover or even haul off all the damaged sheetrock, flooring, furniture ect in a lot of the damaged areas
This could well be the killing blow for some of the smaller towns in eastern NC and SC . They are rural and poor .. NC government has NOT spent 1 dime of the disaster relief funds from hurricane Matthew that hit 2 YEARS AGO !!!
These people need your prayers
Thanks

It looks like some parts of the country can't get a break this year. I have family in NYS and they have seen so much rain this year that they are hoping that it doesn't snow that much this winter. I need to replace a roof back in NYS and can't as it doesn't give enough dry days to get there and do the work so it looks like I may have to wait until next year. Sure hope the old roof doesn't leak before I can get there to replace it.

I sure did not mean to make light of the damage that FL and GA will/might get. Its just eastern NC and SC just cant seem to get a break. There was a report just now on the news that there still 7 counties in NC where the schools are stll closed because of Florence damage . Over 120,000 children NOT going to school

The country is experiencing some of the worst weather we have seen in a long time. Fema is worthless and private citizens and organizations are being forced to step up which is a good thing. Carrying for others that are hurting, feeling hopeless and wondering what to do next is a very good thing don't feel you are make light of the damage others have gone through.

Word is that they still have a couple more days without power.
