Well gentleman, I have just logged another year on my odometer. I am now 84 and counting. I did get a free breakfast at Denny's this morning. It was good. By the way I am the youngest of eight and there are four of us still living. Clean living I guess.

I keep telling my wife, "Its the mileage not the model.year, and the condition of the roads driven over."

Happy Birthday! Yeah, hours and miles add up but pond levee and turn row miles are different than highway miles!

If you are going to do some thing dumb do it now while you can still blame it on youthful indiscretion !!!!

Good Morning,
Happy Birthday to all of you! I completed 75 trips around the sun on Sunday, September 30, no wonder I am tired. We celebrated at our Daughters house, I was surrounded by family, my good wife of 54 years, and God still loves me in spite of my many faults. I am blessed.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

Happy Birthday to several of you who have just turned the page to another year. Especially to you, GOPHER SLAYER, the op for this thread. I will make my 73rd in January if the Good Lord permits it. I agree with smokeywolf in post #13 where he posted .."I consider that quite an accomplishment, making it to 4 score and 4." As we age there are bumps in the road that weren't there when we were younger, but it is a great life. The wife and I are very blessed to still be making this journey together at 51 years and counting.

Hi...
I will turn 64 in November.
It is not the years...it is the miles.
Too many of them have been over rocky roads.

Just saw this thread tonight. I did 66 on Monday. Went to the range today and learned some things. Good day, new friend to boot.

66 on wed, not a lot of excitement here. No big whoopie IMO.

Good news is I am still here and still doing things I like to do.

Happy birthday all you guys! I'll be 69 in 3 weeks, and still averaged 68+ hours a week at work for the last 13 months, plus teach school one evening a week. I went hunting with my son last Saturday, cool day but warm sunshine, got out of the breeze with my back against a stump while he went through the nasty parts of our property, and thought heavily about what's really important. I think my worktime will soon come to an end, I just don't have time to do the fun things anymore. I just worry that I won't enjoy my time away from work as much as I do now. Any thoughts, Gopher Slayer?

I'll be 58 in November but a pretty serious heart attack almost brought me to a screeching halt 4 years ago so I'm very happy to still be here and doing well.

give some of you credit. At 62 im alive and kicking but pay every day for my passion for living and need for speed when I was younger. Hate to think about what will be left at 85 if I make it that far. my guess is ill probably be wishing I hadn't.
