I’ve been seeing a lot of negative things about this mould. I still haven’t gotten it to work for my 6.5x55 Swede. CG 63 with 8.5 rifling. I still have a lot of things I can change for the time being to try and work it out, but was wondering what others think about this mould.

While not a 6.5 Swede, Iv'e been using that mould with good results in a 6.5 Bullberry Contender barrel with decent results. This round is based on the 30-30 Win, shortened and necked down. It casts a nice boolit for me, as do all my RCBS molds. The alloy I use for it is 75%WW/25% Lino BHN +/- 15. Preferred powder is IMR4895. I would think that it would be long enough for the Swede, but perhaps not. Others will chime in, but more load info might be helpful in diagnosing why it won't "work" for you. Hope this helps...

It casts a great bullet but it will not work in my 1:8 260.
