I am thinkin about getting some of the White Label Carnauba Red, problem is I dont have a heater.

Is there something I can rig up so I can use this lube in my sizers? I have a Lyman 45 and a RCBS lube-o-matic.

How about a drop light or a blow dryer? That's what I use on my 450's. I made a heater for my Star out of an old coffee maker element.

I think it's been posted here, and I like the idea so much I am going to try it, but a steel plate under your sizer, and a regular Iron. Probably want to get a 8$ Iron you can call you own, rather than borrowing the wifes though.

Make sure the iron isn't more than 150 watts or you will overpower the lube(as in melt the crap out of it) Travel irons seem to work well.

I have had good luck with a 60-75 watt light bulb touching my RCBS Lubrisizer for a few minutes - gets a little bright, but it works.

+1 for a bulb in a clamp on work lite , then ya can adjust it accordingly to keep luber warm & brite to keep fingers out of da way.
carnauba red needs heat 90f to 100f is aplenty , just warm to the hand .
if it gets too warmm it`ll tell ya!!!!!

I tried the light bulb thing, slow and hard to regulate. I then put a piece of steel under my Lyman 450 and Star Lubsizer and set one of my wife's old irons on it and turned it on to high. Boy did it work, lube everywhere in no time so I just turned the iron down. Heats up quickly and can be regulated.

I purchased a $6 iron from Walmart. I set it on low and lean it against the body. Once the the lube is warm I unplug the heater/iron. I reapply the iron once every half hour for 10 minutes while I'm sizing.

Seems to work fine for $6.
