I am in the final stages in this Lee 125gr 356 PC Bullet. I would like some input or words of heed before i proceed further.
I have 2 Glocks, Glock-43 with aftermarket Blacklist barrel, and Glock-19 Gen5 (New never shot it yet). My issue is the COAL is 1.110 in the G43 barrel and 1.090 in the G19 barrel. I did the testing of both barrels using the plunk and rotation of the bullet in barrel, then proceeded to do the slide feeding, cycling and extraction test in which they passed no issues but dry no powder or primer. Again I am using the lee 356 125gr bullet mold with powder coat. I would be using Win-231 with CCI primers. I would need a starting charge on powder to be used in both and if i can drop the COAL in the G43 to 1.090. Does anyone have this bullet or any inputs from their expert levels please inform me.

It is fine to go with the 1.09 col. Your powder has lots of listed loads to start with. Just do a ladder from min to max in both guns to see how it works. Then compare the results and pick the best compromise

Lee 356-125-2R is my favorite 9mm bullet, yes I do like it better then the 120-TC version which many around like as well. Im not a glock guy as a matter of fact I dont like glocks at all so I only shoot this in my P320 TP9 SFX and PT111.

You didnt say what are you sizing these to because thats the most important thing if you ask me. I would size to .357 if you can fit it. If you can only chamber .356 it might work but most likely you will need throat reamed to accept .357 before you get any decent accuracy.

I've seated that bullet at 1.08 I believe (dont have my notes at work) without any issues. As a matter of fact you might have to seat short if you have short throat. Normally I seat around 1.110 with 4.0-4.2gr of W231/HP38 which makes a nice and soft yet accurate round.

Not sure how that works out in Glock world but works for me.

I've loaded and shot thousands of these in several different 9mm handguns. I also powdercoat, and I size to .357"
My OAL is 1.100"
I'm not much help on load data, as I've loaded these with Prima V, WSF, Unique, and VVn320 at one time or another. Pick your 125g load data, starting loads, and work up for function and accuracy.

Those are beautiful! What PC technique do you use?! What powder is that?

Thank you8-)
The powder is from smoke4320, right here on the forum. Several different colors, some mixed with other colors. I guess I get bored easily.
Technique is dry tumble in a cool whip container, then stand them up individually on non stick foil.
Sizes easily to .357"

I'm with wrench I shot thousands of these as well and not only in 9mm but in 38S too. This is how its done :castmine:

Powder is Red Baron from EBay. Covers really well and thick. I was actually going to do step by step but I'm not sure if its worth it since there are so many tutorials out there already.

Back on the subject there are many powders that will work with this bullet. Couple loads I ran into on the forums recently that I have shot with no issues. Loaded to 1.100

HP38/W231 - 4.2gr (nice soft target practice load)
Unique - 4.5 - 5.0gr (I like 5gr load feels like factory load)
WSF - 5gr (many love this powder and this load from what I see. worked ok for me)
Power Pistol 5.0-5.7 (waiting to shoot 5.7gr with cast. worked fine with FMJ)
AutoComp - 5gr (nice soft recoil, will be testing this powder more)
HS6 - 6gr (for longer barrel handguns since this powder burns relatively slow)

I need to get chrono so I know what velocity I'm getting with these loads :violin:
