The gun's bigger than the deer. Probably never knew what hit it.

I dunno if I'd care to shoot that out of the deerstand or anywhere else without hearing protection.

Hey fellas, I got a message from PA. He went back with his laser rangefinder and the deer was actually shot at 140 yd's. Amazing damage for that distance.

Hickorycreek, I don't know how much PA hunting you have done but in much of the state, that is a large deer! I used to hunt there all the time years ago and it was a miracle to see ANY deer with antlers. I would count as many as 80 doe walking past me and could hunt a week without seeing a single buck. Even in archery season I seen mostly doe and would shoot one for meat. The deer hunting in PA is still bad and getting worse from past and present game department practices and the reluctance of hunters shooting off the doe. Farmers are still killing off deer all summer until there is nothing left to hunt.
There are some areas of the state where an 8 point buck is no larger then a dog and you can close your fingers around the rack.
I would say half of the deer I shot in PA also tasted very bad.
