Maybe I will or maybe I won't but I just fond an upcoming auction this Sunday in my area that has four cap lock pistols in it. It looks like there are two Kentucky pistols, one Philadelphia derringer and a pistol I can't really identify. Most of the other stuff listed for the auction is German WW2 military items which I'm not interested in but will probably bring in most of the crowd. I need another pistol like a hole in my head but really want to see if I can pick some of them up cheap. I'm on the horns of a dilemma here LOL,
any thoughts?

if you can get them at a good price, buy em, if you don't like one or the other sell it here.

Like stated if you can get them cheap, buy them if not then pass or talk to whoever buys them and see if they don't want any of the MLs.

I'd take a good look - if it is a Philadelphia Deringer ...
You can always sell them here if you can get a reasonable price - but what is a reasonable price for a genuine Deringer? If it's a copy then you are right - bid low.

From the pictures all the pistols are reproductions, nothing fancy mainly Traditions and Junkars models. I'm hitting the auction Sunday but not planning to spend a lot of cash on them.

A little is good, a lot is better and too much is just enough! Buy as many as you can afford. If you really don't like something, you can always sell it here after playing with it for awhile.

I'm in need of a project and reworking one might be cheap fun. A lot depends on what they go for at the auction which only time will tell.

Eddie2002, since you can't make it, care to share where the auction is? I know, FL is a big state.

It's over by Deland, Seminole Estates Auction, their web site hasn't been updated for a while. I found the auction on craigslist.
