Just wanted to share - even got the wife to try her hand at casting a few bullets on the 2 cavity mold before she went back inside and I could go to town with the 6 cavity. She really seemed to enjoy casting. I will have to tell her to pick out her own PC color as well :-D

Do you mind me asking what your COL is for the 120gn TC? I'm just starting to work with that bullet in my Rock Island 9mm and I'm having feeding issues.

In my Canik i'm running 1.115" COL. I was running longer COL in my other 9s but the Canik was experiencing feed issues as well in the longer ranges. 1.115" seems to be a sweet spot for me. I run my load through QUICKLoad and pressures are well within range and i have no visual cues of pressure either.

How do you keep the Canik loads designated to tell them apart from the others?

The other 9mm pistols I have will shoot those loads. I actually just have earlier boxes of rounds (non-canik friendly) with stickers on the boxes that I need to use up in other pistols.

I run these bullets at 1.07 in 6 different 9’s, sized .357.

I run the 356120 TC @ 1.055" for all my 9's.

I appreciate the input on the length for the Lee 356-120 TC. I've been running at 1.120" from info from one of my manuals. I'll drop to a starting load and set 'em back 0.003" at a time till I find what works. Thanks again.

Just "plunk" test is your toughest chamber you are planning to load and go from there. If you are planning to load for multiple guns I think that's the only way to go.

Chamber fit is not the problem. They're nose diving on the feed ramp. Been reloading over 20 years, this particular cast bullet is new to me. I'm sure it's a length issue. I'll drop to minimum charge and experiment with the length. I'll get it to work.
