Annoying white box of text needs a turn off button

Question for those who control the forums function.

When I put my cursur on the subject line a large white box with the posts text pops up and obliterates much of myscreen. This is very annoying.
Is that feature in this forum, or my computer? Either way is there a turn off button somewere?

Asked and answered. No turn off button. It's a "feature" requested by others. Makes me unhappy too.
