If it's free, it's great! Rooster Labs have been around awhile and their product is carried by MidwayUSA, etc. They are recognized for quality products.

I used SPG when I first started with black powder cartridge several years ago. Good Stuff. Their book and magazine are first rate too.

I needed boolit lube for smokeless pistol and LARS' price was good. I tried his black powder lube sample and it worked well for me and the price was excellent. I've bought more since then. I keep talking about it, but have not loaded it into my STAR and tried it for my smokeless reloads so far. (Mike Venturino uses SPG for almost everything...and said so in a post here awhile back.)

Try some in your guns and see how it performs. Black Powder cartridge guns are unique items and your experiences and mine might not be the same.
