Gun clubs/rifle ranges in the KC area?

As the thread title says, I'm looking for a gun club to join or a good rifle range to use in the Kansas City area. I moved earlier this year and my private range now belongs to someone else. I thought I had a range located on MDC property I could use, but that's turned out to be a bust. I don't see anything that looks particularly attractive in a Google search.
Anyone here have experience with a range they'd recommend? I really don't have any interest in an indoor range or a place where mag dumps from AR shooters and braked magnums are the norm.

Hannibal shame your not way farther east we have great range and club that fits your description. Missouri has great gunclubs. I just have not seen any on your side of the state.

That's appears to be the case. I find it odd that as many people as there are in the KC metro area that there aren't several ranges. Gun clubs and organized shoots are hard to find as well, but it follows that without ranges you can't have the rest.
