Another new mold I picked up recently was the Hensley & Gibbs #41. This is a 110 grain "gallery" projectile according to the factory ledger:

"#41 - .38 S& W Special. 110 grains. A lightweight bullet primarily for indoor short-range use, similar to configuration of#50, but with only two rounded grease grooves. Available in plain base and bevel base."

Interesting bullet, I always wondered how many designs had their lineage linked to #50 (As in #333, which is a light flat wadcutter with one lube groove).

I don't think two will fit into a .357 case which is where I was headed with this thinking. So, I may just stick with it in .38 special, for my K38. Might be able to make some short range backyard loads to annoy ornery critters.

Lyman made a little 90 gr 38 wadcutter I always wanted to get. No real idea what I'd do with it, but it looked fun. Shoot rats in the feild maybe. Probably has the BC of a feather.

Saeco has a #456 that casts two 70 grain and two 105 grain wadcutters. A bit difficult to get the mould up to temperature with the small cavities. Can't remember specifics but can get at least two in a .357. Haven't experimented with it too much because I'm not sure what the end use would be.

If it is half as accurate as it's daddy it would still be a great 50' or 25yd target bullet. My H&G 50 will shoot as well as factory hbwc target loads. It is a great wadcutter bullet imo. Nick
