I talked to the repair shop guy about it before I took it to him

He told me he had someone else bring in their Walker Mower with the same problem
He later told me it was a valve that was supposed to cut off the fuel , but was sticking open

Not a high $$ problem , but I agree it needed fixed

I also picked up some belts and a few parts for a "PROJECT"
As I bought a 30" snow blower a few weeks back

The motor and snowblower worked fine , but the tires , axle and those parts were junk

I found a extra stripped mower deck that was in need of a MAJOR rebuild ( CHEAP LOL )
And will soon have the Snow blower installed on wheels
Installed in the center of the stripped extra deck

IF It works like I plan the Lawn Mower will simply slowly push the snow blower , not try to pick it up

I used to love working on small engines. Still like to hear about others projects. I mowed yards as a kid and my mower was built from others throwaways.

It's fun to re-purpose stuff and create what you need.

I see free mowers all the time on Craigslist that just need the carburetor bowl and fuel jet holes cleaned.

heh, someone on here gave me tips to repair my first mower. I looked like a genius fixing my neighbors with a bit of wire to poke out the jets ;). Sounds like a fun project.
