Can't pull it off these days but back when my backyard was 80 acres, I sure did! Looks like a nice spread you got there.

I'm definitely ready for cooler temps. Was looking at backpack tents the other day. Gosh good equipment has become much more expensive than I remember

I was thinking about ordering some fabric to make another hammock. I need to go camping again soon.

Yeah but look at all the driving you didn't have to do. Plus if you forgot anything it's no problem at all to run back for it :-D

A weekend spent in the backyard will id the things you forgot or don't need. A rainy cold night spent without a ground cover in the back yard is just an inconvirnce. In the outback it can be a disaster.

Used to when the son was little, he loved it. Best of all no planning or cost involved which was perfect for a busy Dad. We just sold our little RV this spring since he is 16 now, and concerned with his mustang, football, and girls, which is the way things should go. I do miss it so thanks for the pleasant reminder!

Well, rain predicted for early morning (just past 2am) so we tore down camp early. Was nice "pretending" we weren't home.

Had family over for smores last night. After a bit of talking seems i just traded my 14' camper for my wifes Aunts 26' camper. She says its too big for them. Turns out all they use in it is the bedroom and the rest is just unused space. We have a brand new granddaughter and 2 big dogs to fit in with us. So she offered a trade. All i gotta do is tow this one an hour and a half away, set it up, then tow the other home!

Best campin trip ever! LMAO

Nothing like sleeping gout under the stars . . . backyard or deep in the woods, you've got the important things . .. your better half with you, food, drink and a chance to get away from it all . . . who could ask for more than that?
