I am not likely to ever use the chat feature of this board for several reasons. I remember how poorly the chatroom on aimoo worked,or more accurately, didn't work. But the main reason is that I prefer to look over my posts before launching them. As an old Navy Chief once told me, it keeps me from "talking like a man with a paper a......" But the real reason for this post is that I have seen notices on this board that ONE member is in the chat room. Who would be talking to himself, knowing that others can read that he is so occupied? curmudgeon

Bill - I did try it out one evening, and had a message exchange with another member. It seemed to work darn good, as compared to other boards. My only complaint is I couldn't find a screen with white background, black font. That's kind of been the standard for the past few thousand years, and I kind of hate to change now.
I did notice that I was still listed in chat about 12 hours after I left it.
