I shot my first Appleseed shoot this weekend. http://www.appleseedinfo.org/
It was a lot of fun though a big learning curve. I used a CZ452 and probably would have been better served with a clip fed auto. I failed to shoot all 10 in one timed event each time. Good people interested in spreading love of country and marksmanship. Gianni

A friend from Plains and I were trying to make it there this year but just couldn't work out the details. Will try again next year. Thanks for the tip about the semi-auto.

AIRC always dangerous it was 40 seconds with a mandatory reload. Gianni

I guess I shoud have asked what is the target and range also but I am having mental pause.
Maybe a Springfield 03A3 and some stainless stripper clips or a Tikka T3 varmint in 308, has 5 round detachable magazines that really do work(for a long time).

The range is 25 yards. The target is a variation of the "Marine Quick and Dirty?" It is a head and shoulder silhouette sized to represent a man at 100, 200, 300 &400 yards. There is also a 1" square. The general loading mandate was 2 rounds then 8 rounds for a 10 shot course of fire. Gianni
