Bees Wax still good after several yrs?

I'm in the process of leaving Tx and heading home in La. I was loading up a bunch of stuff when I ran across about 30 lbs of unprocessed bees wax. It's been stored outside in a container for about 4 yrs. It has a black coating on the outside but still looks good if I dig into it a bit. It seems to feel light for the size of it.
Do you guys think it is still good?

Melt it down and clean it. I bet it's fine.
