So my buddy got him a 450 BM upper and asked me for some boolits to load. I have several 45 acp moulds, a couple 45 Colt moulds, and a couple 45/70 moulds...but I can't find any hard data for anything I have that might be a decent performer for him in his 450 BM.
I see that many people are using (or wanting to use) 300 to 400 gr boolits in it...and, that may be an idea to pursue over time (I have a 350 gr GC mould for the 45/70), but my buddy is interested in my 255 gr lyman boolit that I have for plinking and even going after these Ohio Whitetails sometime.
Any ideas? Would that 255 gr plainbase boolit lead up his AR? Can one size a 459 boolit down to 452 without destroying the boolit? Any help or ideas are welcome.
