Hey all, I know the 480 shines with 400+ boolits (I have a 435gr WLN from Mountainmolds- Dan is exceptional), but I want to stretch my lead stash so I played around with a 300gr and a 370gr SWC for Unique/Trailboss plinking at 50-75yd with irons but can't decide if

1. I should stick with a SWC design or get another tan ogive
2. 300-320 too light, and I should go with the 370gr.

What's your opinions? I figure this is splitting hairs, but like to open some discussion from more experienced shooters.

The proof is in the pudding. Shoot them. If they are accurate, they are good. That 300 grain bullet looks like a winner to me!

I gotta get a bigger bore gun...I cast for far too many 30 Cal's and 358 Cal's...a 300 grain 'plinker' is so far outside of my concept it makes me want to plug bigger holes in stuff!
