Is #3 a 3 die set?

Nope it is a file and trim die and a small base FL sizing die. Desc. says nothing about 3 dies.

No. 2 is a std 2 die set.

"file and trim" is that a hardened die that allows case neck to stick out the top to be filed down? Die is hard enough it dulls the file rather than being worn down itself. In other words is it a trim die that sizes?

I'm not sure it sizes as it has no decapper or expansion plug. I believe you size the case and then do the file trim (as you would with a case trimmer)
