+1. I had good results with this and the heavier boolits helped with recalcitrant rams.

Which course of fire...the 100M (half-size targets) or 200M (full-size targets)? For 100M 'Hunter Pistol', I shot 158 gr. RNs w/GCs from a 6" S&W 586 with much success...don't recall ever failing to drop a solidly hit ram. For 200M, anything in the range of 170-180 gr. so long as it will hold 2" groups at 50M (off sandbags). I started out shooting IHMSA 'Standing' class with a 10" TC .357 Mag using 170 gr. FMJs but found them somewhat marginal on the rams; upped to a .357 Max without much improvement; then went to 7TCU barrel I'd been shooting in 'Production' and never looked back.
