I know this is a long shot, but I am hoping one of you fine folks might have a pre-72 Colt SP1 Manual. I have heard (and seen on the net) two stories about the correct manual. There are some who claim the pre-72 manuals are identical to the ones made after 1972 except for "72" in the serial number on the back page.
Others claim the manual actually says "Commanche" on the front cover instead of "SP1".
As always--any and all help is appreciated.
