I posted some pictures of some old primers in the Vintage section.
How collectible are old primers????
Is the box more important than the primers????
Primers look to be in good, clean condition.

I would use the primers and sell the empty, vintage box.

If your talking collecting in the primer catch containers on my presses then yes there collectable.

Old primers are collectable but the problem is that its such a small community. There are probably more reloaders that would like to have those for display in their mancaves than there are collectors. You do have a nice collection there!

I wondered that too as I have several boxes and ancient US corrosive, mecuric NM primers I would never use but look neat displayed with my 03 NM rifle.

I collect .22 boxes.
Seems some people insist they have the ammo inside, or it's just junk.
I'm sure those think the same with old primers.
I've never heard of primer collectors.

I have several old boxes of primers that I would be glad to give anyone who shows up at my door, old cartridges too.

I have a box of old Remington shotgun primers that I didn't know what they were. A call to Remington said they were for the old undersized Remington hulls. They will probably still be in the cabinet when I'm no longer around!!
