45 ACP swap

Ok I'll kick this off.


I have 50, 45 cal 200 gr SWC from my 2C RCBS mould.

I use WW alloy, air cooled, they drop at .454 dia.

Here is what they look like.

I can size and lube to .452 or .454 if you want.

I would like 50 230gr RN ''ball'' boolits in 45 cal. for a 45acp, unsized and unlubed. No tumble lube designs please.

each pay shipping to the other.

Here is how I will pack mine for shipping. (more for informational purposes than what I expect from someone else. Your choice on how you get it to me.)

the small priority box on the left is product number 01096S and the other is a standard flat rate envelope.

I will put the boolits in a bag and then put them in the box with extra paper packing in it. then seal up the box and put it inside the envelope.

Yes it will fit just fine. I may have to crush the corners of the box a bit but it won't matter. put a piece of tape across the top of the envelope and mail at the flat rate envelope price of about $5.

I have exactly what you are looking for it think. I have some of the Lee 452-230-R's They have been sized and lubed to 452, though some of the lube may have come off of them due to the fact that they have been sitting in a coffee can under my bench for a long time. I no longer have the mould due to the ex wife, the only reason I still have the boolits is probably because she couldn't lift the coffee can. (stacked in layers, not dumped in)

As I said they were sized to 452, and they are air cooled straight WW alloy. I shot them for years out of my Springfield 1911, and my 45 LC. I need to buy another mould just like that one. They sure shot well out of everything I put in them. Let me know if you are interested. If you are don't worry about sizing and lubing the ones you send to me, I can do that. Send a PM if you want some of them. I will post a pic as soon as I can figure out where the wife hid the camera to keep it away from the kids.
