The mold rest under my Lee 20# pot does not work well with my new Mihec 455 220gr HB mold. Hitting the hole requires a very precise geometry and the pins are gettin in the way. Anybody got a good setup recommendation to make this work easier?

I mainly use a Lee 4-20 and MP moulds. Because of this, I place the pins on the right side of the mould instead.

I get a block of wood, cover it with betal and use that to slide the mold on

Nice. That's the kinda thing I was looking for. Did a search but nothing popped in the first 4 or so pages.

Thanks

I've got that NOE mold guide and it is really sweet. Much better than the homebrew thing I cooked up

I just use a piece of scrap 2x4. It doesn't have a guide, but I don't ever have any problems just lining up the holes as I go.
