I'm getting out of the Encore business so up for sale is my SS, 20", Bergara Barrel made by Mike Bellm. Twist Rate is 1:16 if memory serves me correctly.
It may have 125-150 rounds through it and has been cleaned and kept in the safe always.
$350 TYD NOW REDUCED see below

Thanks!

Just an FYI (taken from a Bellm newsletter) concerning twist rate on 357 Max. barrels:
Many of you have heard my story about the VERY first 5 shot group fired from a rimless .357 Maximum prototype barrel made from a 9mm 1-10 twist blank that I chambered shooting into .530" at 100 yards with the first at random load thrown through it from a 16 1/2" AR-15.

At the other extreme are the 1/4" groups MGM got at 80 yards from their 1-20 twist barrel. Look for the targets on the red background:

The most common 1-14 twist shoots great but is still spinning the bullet faster than needed. 1-16 twist is to me a good compromise and is what Remington has used for all of its .35's for over 100 years. At present, Match Grade Machine has a smallish inventory of really nice 1-16 twist blanks on hand, if you prefer, with the smaller groove diameter, which I will get into shortly.

SUB-SONIC shooters: MATCH GRADE MACHINE HAS 1-10 TWIST .35 CAL. BLANKS ON HAND!
Why mess with .30 cal. when you can go sub-sonic punching a bigger hole with a .35 cal..... and do it with a rimmed case. Even .38 Special holds enough powder for subsonic, .357 Magnum with bullets seated out holds a "book" .357 Maximum load for the option of more potent "full house" loads, or go with .357 Maximum with a slow enough, easy enough to light powder for subsonic loads. Off the cuff, Trail Boss is a likely choice.

Groove diameter:
Short version..... after all these years and with all the conceivable variations in .35 cal. groove diameters .357 Maximum has been chambered in, I have come to the conclusion it makes ZERO difference what the groove diameter is. It can be anything from .355" to .359" and shoot great.
