My fiancé and I got married this past Saturday. Coming we both shoot and she gave me a Ruger LCRx 357 mag and my brother(best man) gave us a Henry Golden Boy in .22 magnum. My now wife fell in love with the golden boy as soon as she shot it. [emoji3]

Congrats on all fronts. Just make sure you never shoot the last round in a box of ammo. Or you will be in the dog house.

Shouldn't have to worry much about that. She usually just shoots her Ruger LC9s or Glock 19, and I make sure to keep a full .30 cal can of 9mm ammo loaded for her. The golden boy is going to be the only one we will both shoot but it won't be an every range trip gun. It's just too pretty.

I made my best man a gun rack because he has a few guns he would like to display, I guess now I need to get back out to the garage and build myself one too!

LOML and I will be celebrating 43 years in June - she tolerates me and I tolerate her. Biblically we are called to 'put up with one another' among a lot of other things. She is as good or better shot than me, but doesn't really enjoy it.

Congratulations - and learn to put up with one another.

congratulations. wish you and the wife all the happyness in the world. will be 42 years this year for me and tje missez and would not change a thing. she can easily out shoot me with a hand gun but i got her when it comes to a rifle. i tell her she out does me with a hand gun because of my poor eye sight. she tells me that any excuse is better than none and that may explain the last 10 years what about the first 30. she refuses to have anything to do with a auto loader and loves her revolvers other than that we get along as well as the day we were married. i still hold out hope of converting her some day.

Congratulations. I asked my buddy what he and his wife did to have such a long and happy marriage. His answer was "They never fight about anything important".

I pray that your marriage will be as blessed as mine was for 44 years. Remember Mold Maker's rule #1 always. We didn't always agree, but we supported each other thru good times and bad, that way the good always outnumbers the bad. GW

44 years on this end.

Remember:

It takes 6 men to carry a man to his grave.................and only 1 woman to put him there!!!!!!

Congrats.

Congrats!

35+ (I "think" it's 36,but could be 37) here.Wife and I agree on the longevity part..... "just don't give up on the same day".I still open the car door for her,and we both laugh together.... at ourselves.

She is my best friend. We have been together a little over 5 years, so it's nice to finally be married to her. Now people can stop asking when we are getting married and start pestering us about when we are having kids......

I'm thankful that she shares my hobby of shooting, but I can see that being a double edged sword lol. No problem with buying guns because she shoots as much as me, but can't fudge the numbers on how much gun and reloading stuff costs because she shoots as much as me. [emoji3]

been 21 years for us, unless you count the 8 years we lived together first. We usefully do. Agree with the posters before this, and want to say she's my best friend and I can't imagen my life without her. My ex seems so long ago that I can't even remember much of my life with her. I can't imagen she can either, she's working on her next ex (Number).
Any way congrats and May you enjoy a long uneventful marriage.
