I would like to trade for or buy a Remington model 17 (20 gauge) barrel preferably not a vent rib model.

You may already know this , but these barrels are not "interchangeable" in the way we now think. The barrels are numbered to the gun as they are fit at assembly. I got lucky and found a gun that fit a solid rib barrel I already Had! I too would like to find another barrel, or gun, they are very nice.
