I have a iron frame c&b revolver. It's the 1851 version by Pietta in .44 caliber. It hasn't been treated right. It has some pitting in the barrel and in some of the chambers. Outside looks ok. I took it out yesterday and fired it 4 times around the cylinder for a total of 24 shots. A .451 ball shaved a proper circle of lead at each chamber. #11 cci caps fit proper, 10's were too small. No wonder wads over powder or lube on top of the ball and no chain fires. In fact it worked pretty well. 35grs of goex fffg shot ok. No leading present when I broke it down to clean it. Nipples screwed out just fine and the threads were all good. It's not a cherry but it might work for someone. I'd like $100 bucks shipped. personal check or postal mo. works
